Join a diverse group of writing enthusiasts. Share stories and poems based on a weekly story prompt. All levels and abilities are welcome to join - even if you have never tried writing creatively before. Come to write, or just to listen to some interesting and creative tales.  ​

Flower Arranging with Laurey Andreas

Laurey brings scores of beautiful flowers to New Horizons in this FREE workshop at various times of the year.  Come and learn how to make fabulous displays and bring home your own unique creation to adorn your table.  All materials are provided -- Flowers, Vases, and Ribbon -- but personal additions and touches are always welcome.

Spring has sprung and the flowers are blooming! Bring your own vase or ribbons or use the materials provided to create a beautiful arrangement to celebrate the beauty of the spring season and add a bit of natural color to the rooms of your home. No Lunch will be served, but snacks will be provided.  Please RSVP by April 20

​Bring your latest project--or something you just want to try--to this open group and join other knitting enthusiasts for a session of friendly chatting and helpful knitting hints.  All Knitters welcome!   Stay after the session at Narberth and enjoy a tasty lunch at Noon.  (Please register for the lunch at least 1 week in advance.)

Mindful Coloring
In the Main Room

 It can be difficult, among all the hustle and bustle of the modern world, to find a moment to relax.  New Horizons offers a creative way to do just that, with coloring books and colored pencils available in the Games area every day for anyone who wants a quiet breather or wishes to indulge in a time honored meditation session with minimal effort.  Each unique coloring book is full of pages of intricate designs meant to encourage thoughtful mediation and peaceful tranquility. Take a step back from today's busy world and give your mind a chance to calm while indulging your desire to play.  Come early, and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Center, served at Noon!  (CLICK HERE to see a full menu for the current month.)​​

Art Corner at New Horizons
New Horizons hosts various artists at the Center throughout the year, both in person and on Zoom. Learn and participate in creating everything from Painting to Paper Mache, make a Scrap Book to commemorate pivotal moments in your life, or Design a Card for a special holiday.  You never know what--or who--the Center might be hosting next!
