Flower Arranging with Laurey Andreas
from Sunrise of Haverford November 2025 Laurey brings scores of beautiful flowers to New Horizons in this FREE workshop at various times of the year. Come and learn how to make fabulous displays and bring home your own unique creation to adorn your table. All materials are provided -- Flowers, Vases, and Ribbon -- but personal additions and touches are always welcome. Last Session: November 25, 2025: "Thanksgiving Holiday Bouquet" It’s harvest season at New Horizons and the flowers are bursting with color! Bring your own vase or ribbons or use the materials provided to create a beautiful arrangement to celebrate the glories of autumn and brighten your Thanksgiving Day Table. Come early and enjoy a delicious platter of Bowties Pasta w/ Bolognaise Sauce, served at Noon. (Please register for the meal by November 19.) And don’t forget to register for the Thanksgiving Lunch Party taking place beginning at Noon the following day (November 26) . With some Tender Roast Turkey, Tantalizing Holiday Treats, and Trendy Jazz Tunes there’s something for everyone! In Person ONLY at Narberth Borough Hall:

Mindful Coloring
In the Main Room It can be difficult, among all the hustle and bustle of the modern world, to find a moment to relax. New Horizons offers a creative way to do just that, with coloring books and colored pencils available in the Games area every day for anyone who wants a quiet breather or wishes to indulge in a time honored meditation session with minimal effort. Each unique coloring book is full of pages of intricate designs meant to encourage thoughtful mediation and peaceful tranquility. Take a step back from today's busy world and give your mind a chance to calm while indulging your desire to play. Come early, and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Center, served at Noon! New Horizons hosts various artists at the Center throughout the year, both in person and on Zoom. Learn and participate in creating everything from Painting to Paper Mache, make a Scrap Book to commemorate pivotal moments in your life, or Design a Card for a special holiday.
