Lunch at New Horizons
Catered Meals

​New Horizons offers fresh meals supplied by a licensed caterer on in-person programming days (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Fri) each week.  Meals can be taken home or enjoyed at the Center.  A modest donation is appreciated but not required.  Please order at least one week in advance of the day you would like a meal (or meals) or in order to be guaranteed you are included in our count.

PLEASE NOTE THAT BEGINNING JUNE 1, New Horizons will be switching to our COLD MEALS MENU (Salads and Sandwiches).  Hot Meals will return in the Fall.

New Horizons hosts parties periodically throughout the year for everyone born in the current month...or who loves to eat cake.  Come and enjoy a sweet treat while honoring various Members as they reach milestones in their lives.  No need to register, just come ready to sing!

Cooking Class 
​
Various cooks and food entrepreneurs offer their techniques and tricks to interested audiences throughout the year, both In Person and on Zoom.  All classes focus on a theme, from nutritious desserts to using environmental friendly methods to grow and cultivate your own heart-healthy ingredients for delicious dishes.  Join with other food enthusiasts and learn how to make those incredibly tasty surprises for yourself.

"Dine at the Small Spring Lunch Party Dessert Buffet!"

Everyone needs a little guilty pleasure from time to time, and various partners of New Horizons are more than willing to provide the answer!  Whether its cupcakes and pastries for Music Week, a dessert offered along with a program, or crepes provided just because, New Horizons has many different sweets on offer at various times throughout the year.  Come in and have fun!

Neighborly HomeCare comes to New Horizons on April 1 to offer a variety of spring-themed goodies during the Small Spring Lunch Party.  Indulge in some delicious delicacies while celebrating the season and then wander over to the special Voter Education Table and learn all you need to know about voting in Pennsylvania from Voter Engagement Specialist Adam Blum.  Afterwards, stay for some Mah Jong or Chess or add some pieces to our spring-themed puzzle(s).  Everyone welcome!   (Come early and join us at our Lunch Party, starting at Noon -- Please call 610 664-2366 ASAP to register for the Turkey Ham..)

Join with other food enthusiasts and those who just love a good snack and chow down on various offerings provided by a registered nutritionist at different points throughout the year.  Indulge all you want in the scrumptious desserts at the table without any need to feel worried or guilty, as everything is approved for a nutritious diet.  Bon Appetit! 

Last Session:  Thursday, April 30 at Noon: Topic TBA:  Join Teri Wassel, MS, RD, at the Dessert Buffet for another fun, nutritious, and tasty session learning about -- and trying out -- various healthy desserts.  Teri will provide info on how to make everything on the Buffet Table.   Join us and find a new favorite for your next family dinner or holiday meal.  Optional Lunch: Creamy Paprika Chicken (Please register for the meal by April 22.)

Holiday Luncheons and Lunch Parties

Come and celebrate various holidays throughout the year.  Honor enduring partnerships during Valentine's Day, wish top o' the morning to fellow diners on St Paddy's Day, wear your favorite costume on Halloween, enjoy a delicious turkey during Thanksgiving week, and celebrate the holiday season at the end of December.  Guests and Members alike mingle during these occasions filled with fun, food, and fulfilling entertainment.

JUNE 12, 2026:  2026 VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION LUNCHThanks to all our Volunteers and Members for a wonderful year at New Horizons!  Come to Narberth Borough Hall, 2nd Floor, on June 12 and join us in celebrating all our dedicated volunteers while we look back on a great year at the Center.  Enjoy some scrumptious food and catch up with old friends, while listening to some truly entertaining music as we honor all our loyal volunteers.
