Volunteer Culture

New Horizons is the only Center in the area whose programs are run completely by volunteers. Boasting a corps of over 150 volunteers, New Horizons' unique programs are led by credentialed experts in their field.  In 2019 our volunteer corps donated 7,219 hours of service to the Center. Our volunteer opportunities are always changing and will be posted below. However, if you have a special interest, expertise or idea, we are happy to tailor the perfect volunteer opportunity to suit your skills! We have volunteers of all ages, from Middle School Students through folks in their 90s.
